Regional Market Access Manager - TILLSATT
Ett läkemedelsföretag söker nu Regional Market Access Manager till Västra Götalandsregionen (VGR). För den som är driven finns goda möjligheter att forma och påverka rollen.

Vad innebär rollen?
Du kommer att ansvara för regional market access, relationer med beslutsfattare och även ansvara för olika nationella projekt.

Vem är du?
Du jobbar idag i läkemedelsindustrin med market access och påverkansarbete. Du har goda relationer med beslutsfattare (politiker, tjänstemän, budgethållare m fl) i Västra Götalandsregionen. Du har god kännedom om såväl nationella som regionala finansieringssystem inom hälso-och sjukvården.
Som person är du strategisk med ett kommersiellt öga och du har en förmåga att förstå och omvandla kundens behov till konkreta handlingar.

Lämplig bostadsort är Göteborg med omnejd.

The RMAM will be overall responsible for regional Market access work in Västra Götaland as well as the national Market Access responsibility for some of the therapeutic areas, in very close collaboration with medical, marketing and sales.
The responsibility includes strategic regional and national market access planning, stakeholder relations, payer marketing and project management.
The Company has an attractive product portfolio currently with focus on the therapeutic areas Diabetes, Oncology, neuroscience, autoimmune diseases. The R&D efforts and investments are substantial and there are some very interesting and promising products in the pipeline.
The RMAM will work in a matrix organization, collaborating with many different managers and specialists in The Company.
The RMAM position will be field based with home office in the Gothenburg region. The RMAM reports to the External Affairs Director at the The Company Sweden office in Solna outside Stockholm.
With the role follows frequent travelling within the region and to internal meetings at the office in Solna. There might also be a few business trips and conferences outside Sweden.

Key Responsibilities
Understand and influence payer processes and decisions to secure access of The Company’s medicines to patients.
• Secure Market access of The Company’s substances to patients on a regional level and drive some national initiatives
• Strategic work and ability to argument and transform efficacy of our products in to a value for different audiences like health care and payers
• Strategic material in order for payers to understand the value of our medicines
• Mapping of payers/politicians/authorities and associations in order to understand who owns the question, who might influence and who will take the decision at what time
• Build strong relationships with payers/stakeholders
• Work very integrated with RMAM colleagues, pricing & reimbursement, corporate affairs, marketing, sales and medical
• Take the lead in Brand team with payer strategies and solutions including customer council process
• Understand the payer environment on a national level
• Understand the payer environment on a regional level and how those two integrates
• Create strategic objectives in line with target patient and environment
• Understand how to use internal resources to maximize external value of our medicines

External working relationships
• National prioritized stakeholders, The National Board of Health and Welfare and/or other important authorities.
• Regional County Councils policy makers and civil servants in Västra Götaland
• Budget holders at payer or health care provider level
• Industry Association LIF, networks and effective use and collaboration

Internal contacts and working relationsships
The RMAM is part of the External Affairs department led by the External Affairs Director. The department also consists of other specialists such as RMAMs, pricing & reimbursement and therapeutic area leads.
The RMAM in VGR is a member of the Brand team adding Swedish Market Access expertise. The RMAM VGR has a close collaboration with internal stakeholders in pricing & reimbursement, corporate affairs, sales, marketing, medical, legal and compliance.

Required Experience and Knowledge
• Broad experience from a Market Access and County Council business function within the pharmaceutical industry (not only as a KAM working with LMK and expert groups)
• Relevant network and relationships with key stakeholders (politicians in VGR, policy makers, civil servants, budget holders, pharma unit etc)
• Solid knowledge of the ever changing Swedish healthcare system and business model
• Experience from national market access work, authorities and stakeholder relations is an advantage • Understanding of internal and external compliance and ethics and how to transform that in to opportunities
• Experience from round table discussions, creating policy tools like white paper, value stories or similar
• Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English
• High level user of MS office (word, excel, powerpoint)
